In this 4-week summer sampler, kids will enjoy summer themed music & dances each week. 

From hula (and hula hoops) to ocean creature ballet with dolphin leaps and octopus wiggles, our Happy Feet will be making a splash this summer. Join us for The Swim and Beach Boys music plus beachball and parachute fun with parents at the end of each class!

🍧 SPECIAL SUMMER TREAT: Each week after class, we'll enjoy popsicles on the playground!

We hope you'll join us every week, but we understand summer schedules. Maybe you're visiting the grandparents for a couple of days or have a camp or vacation. In that case, use the flexible scheduling option to pay only for the days you can attend.

🎵IMPORTANT NOTE: DAILY REGISTRATION must be paid in advance. We're enrolling for Fall, so there will be no late registration on July classes. Registration ends July 2nd at 6pm

ABOUT HAPPY FEET

Does your child love music and dancing? Got wiggles and love to move & groove? 

Kids in Happy Feet don't just learn tap & ballet - we explore a variety of dance & music styles from classical ballet & multicultural dances from around the world  - to party dances like disco, The Chicken Dance & Y-M-C-A!

Individual, partner, and group dances learned in class foster self-confidence, self-expression, cooperation, sharing, turn-taking, and a joyful sense of community with new friends.

Stories, props, instruments, & costume accessories engage your child’s imagination and make learning to dance FUN!

SKILLS: Happy Feet dance classes also reinforce preschool concepts, build body awareness and enhance your child’s social and emotional skills. These early learning experiences also lay the foundation for more advanced dance and music skills in the future.

• PHYSICAL SKILLS: coordination, balance, flexibility, fine motor skills, body part awareness, spacial awareness & direction, and inhibitory self control
• MUSIC SKILLS: listening skills, steady beat, rhythm, timing, pitch & dynamics
• LOGIC SKILLS: counting, patterns, sequences, memorization, creative thinking & problem solving
• SOCIAL SKILLS: sharing, turn-taking, partnership & teamwork
• HEART SKILLS: emotional awareness, kindness, peace & harmony

PARENT SHARING TIME & PERFORMANCE

You are invited to join your child in a fun circle dance at the end of each class. During the school year, dancers enjoy a high energy performance for family and friends at the end of each 12-week session!

WHAT TO WEAR

Kids can wear any comfortable clothing for movement. Leotards are welcome, but not required. Leggings, yoga pants, bike shorts, gym shorts & sweat pants are all appropriate dance attire.

SHOES

No dance shoes required for class. Please wear sneakers or shoes with flexible soles. Avoid boots, flip flops, Crocs & jellies. Most other kid;s shoes are dance-friendly.

What’s included?

✅ 45 minutes of creative movement, various music styles & games

✅ NO HIDDEN FEES: No expensive dance costumes or recital fees. Performance is included in your tuition. 

✅ FUN RECITALS! Our performance will include choreography, props & costume accessories. Performances are free for guests, so invite all your child's fans!
